(DEAD) CSI: New York $20.99 pre-order at Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...v=glance&s=dvd

$20.99 before shipping and/or tax, for those of you that missed the CD Universe "sale." Of course, Amazon is only listing MSRP as $29.99, so take that whatever way you will (regarding the prices other stores are selling it for).

What's the chances of them honoring this price mistake??

On a related note, BestPrices.com has this for $22 ($25 with S+H).

I just gave it a shot. Does Amazon charge you upfront for pre-orders or do they wait until it is about to ship? Thanks OP!!!

Glad I got in on the CD Universe one, as I seriously doubt Amazon will honor this, based on past experiences. Good luck!

So does Amazon never honor their (frequent) price mistakes?

Question: If they cancel a preorder and the price of it was used toward the free shipping, will you still get free shipping on the remaining item even if it's now under $25?

This happened to me in the past and I still got the free shipping.

I figured I'd give this one a shot. If it doesn't go through, no big deal. I've never actually seen this show, but enjoy the other two. Thanks for the heads up!

I concur with Kyle that when they have done this in the past I still got free shipping. If however their system tries to charge you shipping, call them up and explain the situation that THEY canceled an item and it put you under the free shipping mark and request a credit for the shipping as THEIR action and not yours caused the amount to be lowered. They would really have a hard time saying that you should be charged for the shipping at that point and they are usually very accommodating with giving credits in those types of cases.

Someone who left a "review" on their site asked if the original lower price was correct. Way to go.

Thanks for the link! Just one thing though, is that site reliable? I have never heard of it before and it looks a little sketchy.
