Do you think he can turn things around down there or is he in over his head?

he already has alot of big name high school recruits considering SC for 2006
he'll bring in the talent, then make them win

... he'll bring in the talent, then make them win

Yup... this year he'll probably do better than many would expect. Then, in another year or two, SC could easily grow into a SEC powerhouse.

I think his first game against UCF, he'll win 52-10. For the rest of the season, he'll probably get 8 wins.

I don't think he'll be able to match the success he had at Florida. He might sneak into the SEC championship game once in a while but that's about it.

Holtz was as dirty as they come and he still had a hard time getting top talent to come there.

He's in a world of hurt having to compete and recruit against, Florida, Georgia, and Tennesse. He'll win, but I don't see him winning big. South Carolina is not a great state for high school football talent. They have a handful of great players, but there isn't much depth. I thought I saw a stat on ESPN earlier where they've been to only 11 bowl games in 111 seasons.

Holtz was also a great coach and a big name. Not a lot of success in his tenure.

So do all the SEC schools like Florida, LSU, Georgia, Tennesse, Alabama, and Auburn.

8-9 wins?
not this year.. not without any type of defense, or rushing offense
