5 disc DOGME95 10th Anniversary set to be released....

I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but the Danish DVD production company Electric Parc stated on their website that they are currently in production on a 5-disc 10th anniversary DOGME95 box set. The set will include the first four DOGME films (Festen, Mifune, The Idiots, and The King is Alive) as well as a bonus disc. All of the discs will include English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish subtitles. According to the website, they are currently gathering vintage documentaries and producing new commentaries and interviews that will also be included. The set is due for release in November.

More information can be found at www.electricparc.com. Click on "DVD" and then "In Production."

They are also at work on Lars von Trier's MANDERLAY. My hope is that they produce another stunning release to match the 2-disc DOGVILLE release.

I own all of them but The Idiots that I have is the UK disc and I don't like it at all. If the transfers are well done I will be getting the set (the Danes do great documentaries). Festen is yet to receive a proper treatment (the UK DVD has those cracks on the soundtrack but a better video quality compared to the R1....which is bare bones).

Thank's for the news Bjackson

Is there any chance that "Idioterne" (or any of these titles) will be released separately?

Oooh ... set looks amazing, which I'd expect after the Lars Von Trier box. And I saw they're putting together the Nordkraft disc, too, which bodes well for English subtitles being included ...

Wow, that looks like some very exhaustive bonus material!

I've always held off buying Festen and The Idiots, so this actually looks like a must-own set!

The specs of the 2-disc Manderlay dvd also look very nice...

Not only is this an excellent set but the price is just....SUPERB!!
If this set was to be released in the US it would have been at least twice as much. With this said I own all four films (Mifune I got just recently) but will be importing this set for sure. I am certain FESTEN will be a vast improvement over the R1 disc (and the crack-infested UK disc).

Is there an English friendly site to order this set? What is the approximate cost with shipping to the US?

Thanks

Thanks for the recommendation of xploited. I was able to order the set for $53 shipped and received it in 3 days. It's a beautiful set.
