FAMILY TIES

The official line is that the Keaton's live in a never named suburb of Columbus, but in one episode, Alex says that he bought his clothes at a JC Penney's in Dayton.

I always thought it would be fun to start a TV "state" game to see if every state has been featured on a hit show.

I can already tell you that the answer would be "no", because of Delaware. Although depending on how you define "featured" and "hit", The Pretender could work.

For some reason I thought family ties was in toledo, ohio. I do remember an episode where they were going to go to Cleveland for an Indians game. Toledo is more of a Tigers city so maybe that doesn't fit. Columbus is reasonable.
