The Dukes Of Hazzard --> December 13th

The never-before-seen, unrated version of The Dukes of Hazzard comes to DVD on December 13th. The unrated DVD will include deleted scenes, a gag reel, Jessica Simpson’s music video “These Boots are Made for Walking”, and more! The original theatrical version (rated PG-13) will also be available.

Never got around to seeing this in the theater. Guess I'll be picking up the unrated version.

I'm torn.

Yes, The Dukes of Hazzard was a very dumb movie, but it was also highly entertaining, I loved the opening of the trailer because of the "Black Betty" beat, and everyone was great (esp. Willie Nelson and Burt Reynolds).

Funny movie. Did anyone get the feeling that Jessica's scenes were mostly cut? (I thought she was alright, good for the part) I remember at least one in the preview. It was where someone was baking muffins and she said something like "well just wait 'till I leave" because Uncle Jesse was getting excited.

Same day as my B-Day too! At least it's not on a Friday this year, but I think this may be worse!

Extras on the unrated disc include a "The Hazards of Dukes" behind-the-scenes featurette, "Daisy Dukes: The Short Short Shorts" (learn how they made the shorts so short and how to make your own), "The General Lee Lives," and "How to Launch a Muscle Car 175 feet in 4 Seconds," unrated and rated additional scenes, unrated and rated gag reels, Jessica Simpson's sizzling "These Boots are Made for Walking" music video and the trailer. The rated disc will include the same extras, minus the unrated deleted scenes and gag reel. Retail is $28.98.
