Best not favorite? Hmmm, I don't like that. How you feel about a show is too subjective. While I can respect a show I don't like, we're talking about the best of all time here. I can't choose a show I don't love as the best of all time.

21 Miami Vice - I don't think I've ever seen Miami Vice, but there's no possible way it could be as bad as 24
13 L.A. Law
22 Picket Fences - tough one. It's been too long since I've seen Picket Fences, but I don't think it ever got as bad as Oz at it's worst. Of course Oz at it's best was better than PF. Damn, this is the toughest matchup on the list for me.
19 Northern Exposure
15 thirtysomething - GG is NOT a drama, but regardless I'd still give thirtysomething the edge
SCIENCE FICTION - Shouldn't be a category IMO, but I know sci-fi shows develop a stronger following than any other genre.

I think what I would've liked more than an other category is a dramedy category. There's a lot of shows on the list that would fit that category. Yes, I know the "Other" category is a little scattered. Animation, britcoms, variety shows, etc. It just sort of became the catch-all for shows that didn't fit into the other brackets as well as the ones that did make it. Don't read too much into it. I could just as easily scattered the shows amongst 4 brackets with no organization. Just thought it would be a little bit more interesting to see, for instance, Buffy vs Angel rather than Buffy vs Cosby.
And as for Gilmore Girls, you know, I like the show, and yes, it has some funny lines, but it's not a comedy. Perhaps it was better in the dramedy ranks with Other, but what the hell.
Twin Peaks? Like X-Files, it's more just "weird shit" than true SF, but it's close enough.
Again, folks, don't take the brackets too seriously.
