Uninvited - Milland/Hussey DVD yet?

In yesterday's Wall Street Journal 8/19/05 in the Weekend section there was a DVD tip about the movie The Uninvited starring Ray Milland and Ruth Hussey.

I was excited thinking it was finally being released on DVD, but yet when I checked Amazon, DeepDiscountDVD, there was no DVD.

Has anyone heard anything about this movie being released on DVD?

I wish. I went around checking too, with no avail. I hope it is at least in the pipeline. I do love this movie so.

I wish too. I like Milland and from what I hear this is THE BEST horror movie of its period.

Considering how bankable a star (and an Academy Award-winning one at that!) Ray Milland was for Paramount -- and may still be for Universal's home video division -- I imagine that Universal will eventually release one of those two-disc Franchise Collections for Milland, just like they already have for Gary Cooper. I guess they've already released The Lost Weekend, but they've got plenty more to choose from. Personally, I'd like to see some or all of the following:

The Uninvited
The Major and the Minor
Ministry of Fear
French Without Tears (at least I think Paramount distributed this British production)
Reap the Wild Wind

Or they could just repackage Lost Weekend or The Big Clock. Those two current releases aren't particularly special.

Hope somebody from Universal is reading this thread....

This is one of the best "scary" movies ever made. A DVD would be most welcome.
