Solid review, pal! As a rabid Futuramaniac, I of course have all four of the season sets. But this cheapie release is worth owning just for the awesome cover art!

I did not know that there was a previously unreleased commentary track on this DVD, so that's the deciding factor. I don't need the episodes, but I'll be picking up the DVD anyway.

Unfortunately, I doubt the release means that new episodes are coming (one of the reasons came up with when pondering why this 4-ep disc was being released), but watching these terrific episodes really made me miss the series all over again.

I suppose the reason for this release was to get more people hooked on the show, leading them them buying more season sets, then going from there to decide to bring the show back somehow.

I want this show back more than almost all other past TV shows.

I'd heard some talk on another forum that Fox is looking to this new release as a gauge for the possible DTV Futurama movie -- but I don't think that's entirely accurate. Just geek gossip I bet. ;)
