I totally agree. I was so excited about finally getting Cosby on DVD but I was so disappointed when I noticed that they were the syndicated versions. I didn't even finish the 1st episode before I noticed the difference. I contacted everyone I could to complain about it and I got 1 response saying that due to all the negative response they were getting that they would "CONSIDER" using the original episodes on any future seasons. I won't purchase them though until they go back and re-release the COMPLETE season 1. I was fortunate to get a refund on this sham of a DVD collection.
