Well luckily i've never had anyone close serve in any military service during any war times.
i think for anyone to just throw this word out is an insult to all who serve in our military and a should not be allowed to be used so carelessly, a few examples,
people in sports "oh it a war out there", he or she is a warrior."

businesses "were fighting a war against the competition, or a war on prices."

im sure there are others, i dont seem to think any of the two i mentioned are putting there lives on the line for there game or competition.

and for those of you who have served or are currently serving a bigThank you!

The word is being sensationalized. Pick just about any extreme word in the dictionary, and Fox News and CNN have pretty much used it.

It's as if they are constantly paging through the thesaurus for a new word to use that week/month.

Yeah, I hear it all the time. "Hey Groucho, can you deploy this WAR file on the server?"
