"Night Court" Marathon on TV Land (8/13-8/14)
With nothing on TV last night I started flipping through the channels saw that the pilot of Night Court was on so I watched it, then during the commercial they said that there was a marathon of Night Court this weekend, so I checked the DirecTV Guide and sure enough it started yesterday morning at 5:00 AM and goes until Monday at 5:00 AM.
I must have watched about 6-7 episodes last night and after going through the description, TiVo'ed about 6 others.
The clip-show episodes just got over.
The cool thing about this marathon is that have no repeats and are showing eps from all 6 or 7 seasons.
I started quoting the eps and telling my wife about them as they were happening, I was amazed that I was remembering as much as I did... now I'm motivated to buy the DVD sets.
Darn you TV Land!

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
I picked up Nightcourt S1 from Sams on a whim and really enjoyed it. FYI, its $12.xx there and is eligible for the Warner's $50 rebate (comes with a bonus dvd as well!).

I Tivo'd the whole weekend, as this is one of my top favorite shows of all time, and the DVDs aren't coming quick enough. Nice mix of episodes. They even played the one where Markie Post was a guest in S2 (before she regulared in S3). Great show.
Night Court S1 (and Murphy Brown) have the same $12 pricing at Costco.

At my Costco, Season 1 was $13.99 for the 13-episode (short) season... but I got it anyway.
Can't wait the third season and the addition of Christine Sullivan and Roz... that's when the show got really fun!
