Will We Ever See Muppet Babies Releases?

Now that Disney has released "The Muppet Show" on DVD do you think this may lead to releases of the 80s cartoon "The Muppet Babies"?

Or even the 1996 "Muppets Tonight" which was pretty much a 90s revival of the 70s TV series "The Muppet Show"

i think it will be coming in the future. Disney payed a lot of money for the muppets, and they intend to make them a major property once again.

also some one off episodes were release on dvd last year...they came with the muppet babies dolls...they formerly had vhs tapes...but made a switch to dvd...you may can pick these up at Toys R Us still. Kermit, gonzo, piggy and animal were all produced, not sure about anymore

I would love to see Muppet Babies, but I can't wait for Muppets Tonight! I actually have all of MT taped on VHS and watch them every now and then. I would love to have the full collections of all Muppet series.

Fozzie as well. Not sure about the dvds but they still carry the Muppet Baby Beanies at the TRU near me. I picked them all up for my daughter, except for Animal, no sign of him anywhere.

I wonder if there would be a delay in these DVDs because the episodes often contained film clips (like the TIE fighter in the closet) that DVD producers would probably need to obtain clearances for all over again

Why? You don't have to buy something just because it is made available to you. Perhaps you can give another insightful comment explaining.

I'm a 26-year old man that still quotes Muppet Babies. Seriously. Get these on DVD now.

I can't understand why "the muppet babies" or "care bears" havn't been released in season sets yet... We also need "special editions" of the muppet movies...

Since it's early and they haven't been announced yet, lets try to make it known now that we absolutely insist that they release the entire episodes and not the syndication versions (if there were any).

I'd love to have Mupet Babies on DVD and I definitly think it will come.

About the film clips I think it will be ok because a couple years ago when they put out the new Muppet dolls they contained a DVD with a few episodes in it and the film clips were in tact.
