Princesses in the Mario games
Are they all the same one?
Across the years they've all had different names for some reason yet are basically the same character - Princess Peach (in Paper Mario 2) Princess Daisy (Super Mario Land), and Princess Toadstool (in Super Mario 3/Mario World, I think).
Nintendo should at least be consistent

Peach has always been the princess's real name; it was changed to Toadstool for the US games initially. They started to ease us into her real name starting with Mario 64. Princess Daisy was from the Mario Land games and is a different princess.

Princess Peach and Princess Toadstool of Mushroom Kingdom are the same person since her full name is Peach Toadstool. Princess Daisy is someone else entirely, and is the princess of Sarasaland. Then there's also Pauline, which is the person Mario is trying to save in Donkey Kong. She's apparently not princess of anything.

Oh yeah, I remember her as Toadstool from Super Mario Bros. 3, the Mario cartoon and those Nintendo "choose your own adventure" type books. In the Mario movie it was Princess Daisy (I think?)
