So... it's the three books that were used to cull together the movie script? Cool idea. Of course, including a l.e. McFarlane "Death Row Marv" figure would've put it over the top.

For such a great movie, I was hoping for a better LE box set. Maybe the Japanese or Koreans will come out with something kickass.

You have to wait a little longer for the Sin City DVD to come out in Japan. The movie is expected to be released in the theaters in mid of September. Not sure about the fan reaction to this, but it's got Bruce Willis so he might be able to bring in some moviegoers

I would have thought that in Japan, Mickey Rourke would be a bigger drawcard than Willis. That (plus Willis) coupled with the fact that there is a Tarantino connection will see that Sin City does well in Japan.

That, plus extreme violence, gore, and sex are traditionally big selling points in Japan. I think it will do pretty well.

there isn't going to be any extras...just the barebones that US gets. RR didn't finish and won't finish by October. still it is very tempting.

are the books exactly what is in the movies or are the books extended and tell more of the story?
