Great Actress...been watching a lot of her this week too, because of the release of Dallas: Season 3 on DVD. She'll be missed.

I recognize her from a couple Alfred Hitchcock Presents (and Vertigo). She was great in those.

I'll never forget the year where she held out for a new contract on Dallas. She got it, but between her temporary exit and the Pam dream, Dallas never recovered.

I'm pretty sure Bel Geddes left for health reasons, not because she wanted more money. Larry Hagman has stated that the year she wasn't there was the worst year of the show. I believe he was the one that talked her into returning.
