Story based PS2 games?

What are some good story based PS2 games. Have already played Kingdom Hearts FFX, and i have already played the Medal Gear games, so what other games have great stories.

I thought Prince of Persia: Sands of Time had a good story.

Second Sight has a really good story. The game is pretty short, and the gameplay is not excellent but not bad either. However, the storyline in the game is really cool.

No One Lives Forever has a really good and funny story. I never played the PS2 version, I only played the PC version, so I don't know if anything is different in the port. The game is very "Austin Powers"-like in that it is a 60s comedy spy game.

Mafia has an excellent story. I have heard that the PS2 version is crap, but I have never played it. I have only played the original PC version, which is excellent.

Max Payne 1 and 2 have good storylines too. However, they suffer the same as Mafia. The PS2 versions are crappy in comparison to the PC versions.

God of War has a pretty good story if you like the old Greek gods and mythology. The boss battles in this game are awesome.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time has a good story too. The sequel Warrior Within is not as good, but I liked it.

I enjoyed the stories and characters in Suikoden 2+3 a lot (more so 2, which is a ps1 game).

I really enjoyed the Beyond Good & Evil story and thought they did a great job integrating the story into the game, so you felt like you were playing the story rather than just watching it.

I second that. I enjoyed the story in Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits.

Thirded.

This is a loose suggestion, but if you like the X-Men I thought the X-Men legends game had a decent story. The next game comes out in September and continues where this one left off.
