a job in the programming department at (insert most hated TV network here).
Sorry, but Drudge is like a tabloid edited by someone with Tourette's Syndrome.
Hell, I get better quality news by trolling the DVD Bargains forum.

Yeah, those are some great stories.
1) Rummy makes a photo-op
2) Redneck pushed too far by talk radio, can no longer say that Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than his gun.
3) A CNN story (I'm sorry, I thought these were stories you won't see in the MSM)
4) Newsmax trying to blow smoke up people's asses regarding the lack of WMDs in Iraq.
5) A surprisingly un-slanderous piece from Newsmax about the mother trying to see Bush.
etc etc etc.

I love how some people hate Drudge. He basically reports what the liberal media wouldn't dare to, and that somehow pegs him as being tabloidish or untrue. Nice try. #1 news source on the web for a reason.
Take the story about the idiot mother protesting Bush this weekend. See on the tv news if they cover both sides of this story about how last year she said she met with Bush and he understood and she appreciated how much time he spent with her.. and now she's changed her story. Nope, you'll only see on side on CNN, ABC, NBC, etc.. the bad side.
Drudge is mostly a link to news stories anyhow (with the exception of his exclusives) and it includes the L.A. Times and N.Y. Times and lots of other liberal rags. He's an excellent source for weeding through the stories that do and don't matter.

yeah, i like to think that the only stories that "matter" are the ones that support my limited worldview...and I generally don't mind if they are skewed to do so.
I just dismiss everything else as part of a surprisingly resilient persecution complex.

Drudger will be forever hated by most libs because he dared run a true story about the greatest president of the 20th century fooling around with an intern.
