Does anyone know if Madden will be 39.99 or 49.99 at CC tomorrow? The circular says "low price" beside a GB price of 39.99. Webpage says 49.99. Best Buy is doing a "buy a 2nd game for 4.99" deal. I have a CC gift card, but would buy it at BB anyway for their "2nd game for 4.99" deal if CC really isn't discounting this at all. Are there any other B&M deals?

It looks as if it'll be $36.99 at Fry's. It might be the same price on their website www.outpost.com
edit : It's $39.99 with free shipping (http://shop2.outpost.com/search?search_type=regular&sqxts=1&query_string=madden&cat=)

Wrong. Check the ad - it's $39.99. Not even sure why you'd think that in the first place.

"Wrong. Check the ad." Low price is listed for Madden on Xbox/GC/PS2.
$39.99 is for DS.
I didn't say I was sure. I said I 'think' because I work at CC and thought I either saw a printout or heard another employee mention it in conversation. So that is why I would think that. I don't play Madden so I don't pay particular attention to sports prices, just trying to offer a response to the question. Smartass.
Also, at CAG they are under the assumption that it will be $49.99 at BB & CC as well.

Not valid on Gamecube, for what it's worth.

The deal at BB isn't too bad. $5 for a greatest hits title with purchase of Madden. Get one of the EASports gift cards for an extra $5 off the price. I ordered online and was able to get WWE: Smackdown vs Raw for the PS2, even though it showed $39.99 online and $49.99 in the store.

DVDPlanet had it for $34.99 about a month ago (which doesn't do you any good now).
Best idea is like the poster above said. Grab a PS2 / Xbox Gamer Gift Card or a EA Sports Gift Card in a jewel case in the video game section and rip the $5 coupon out of the back (If you don't want to do this, you can just put $5 on the card and then go back in to the store with the $5 gift card and coupon).
Then just grab Madden and a greatest hits/platinum hits game and go up to the register. Should come to $49.98 ($49.99 - $5.00 + 4.99) plus tax for both games.

Except that the EA coupon explicitly says that it's not able to be combined with any other offers, so YMMV. Anyone gone to Fry's yet and verified the in-store price?

If you have the Ad for Fry's you can price match at Best Buy, Circuit City or Sears and they have a 110% percent price match guarantee. Below is the link to Fry's
UPDATE!
While I was working at Circuit City today, around 3 in the afternoon we recieved a corporate email stating that we were to price adjust all Maddens to $39.99.
I assume because of the confusion w/ the ad (which had many people bummed this morning.....but still bought it anyway)
Just wanted to give everyone the heads up if you still were deciding where to buy or if you already bought it you should be able to go back and pricematch the 110% gauranteed pricematch.

Unfortunately, the ad for Fry's only says "Low Price Guarantee" and while it's right next to the NCAA ad for 37.99, it doesn't even have an arrow like they usually do.
