Ok I have one of those combo DVD VCRs and have it hooked up to my tv with a RF adapter and I can't seem to figure out how to hook up my shelf stereo system speakers to it. I'm sure this has been asked before but any help would be appreciated seems like I have tried everything.

What are the speakers connected to? A receiver? Check your manual for wiring diagrams, or provide a make and model for us.

The shelf system needs to have an Aux input or something. You could run the red/white connections to it. Otherwise you probably can't do it with that equipment.
