Thanks! I've been thinking about doing another one of these. I did walmart a long time ago, but they were too slow for me.
The GC made me do it! They didn't mention anything else about when to expect the Target GC. Only email I got was the typical "welcome" one. I guess it will come with my 1st movie batch...I guess we'll see....

Just got off the phone with a netflix rep "Scott". He claims that the promo code "FREETRIAL40" is for only a 2 week trial, and that the GC is mailed after your first paid billing cycle.
either he has no clue what he's saying or netflix is using misleading advertisment, neither one would surprise me.

I tried that and it didn't work for me - told me it was for new customers only. I have a new Email address too, but I guess they are checking the billing address to make sure you are a newbie.

On my account it did say "You are currently in a 14 day free trial of our 3 at-a-time (Unlimited) program". Im not sure if I want to continue with the paid subscription cuz there is no guarantee that they will send me the GC.

The rep told my friend that the GC "might" be sent out after she has one completed billing cycle. Didn't sound too promising.

It doesn't seem clear at all that they don't give the card with the trail. In fact, everywhere on the offer page it say it is for a free trail and card. I guess I'll see soon enough.

No. I agree that its not clear on WHEN you actually get the card. But at least the offer mentioned by vailr states that it won't be until after your first paid period (which is what the $10 Target GC offer is but not stated anywhere at all).
I found this out after calling netflix as previously I previously posted.

Just an update, Netflix confirmed that I would receive the $10 Target card without paying past the trial period. They said I would receive it 8 weeks after I signed up.

Same for me! I signed up (about a month-1/2 ago) as well and only did the 2 week free trial and received my gift card today!
Bad thing is that I went to Target yesterday for the 18.88 sets. Might have to go back and get another two sets...

interesting. my sister received the $10 GC in the mail yesterday. The thing is, she cancelled the membership immediately when they said to us that you would have to wait until AFTER you pay the first month's membership before you qualify for it.
