Home Theater MX-600, IR543, x-10: Little help!
I need a little x-10 help, I hope someone knows the answer!
- I have two devices hooked up to my x-10 system on Channel #1 and #2.
- I have a MX-600 w/ RF extender and IR blasters.
- I have an x-10 IR543 that converts IR signals to x-10.
Now, I bought the IR543 thinking it would be easy to have my MX-600 "learn" the On/Off IR signal for the two x-10 devices. Boy, was I being silly! The directions provided by x-10 suck. There website isn't much better. I was reading up on it at remote central and just couldn't figure it out.
I have plugged in the IR543 and when I press the buttons on it, the devices go on/off and the red led on the top/front blink.
How do I make the mx-600 control it?

First are you sure that the mx-600 can control it?
I use several X10 devices in my theater to control lighting but I also use their control pad to operate the switches.
