How can you not like a band that samples Bill Cosby, Falco and The Cure, and makes reference to Gloria Steinham, Stephen Hawking and Journey?!?

For the briefest of seconds I thought this was a DVD release of all the Bloodhound Gang segments from the show "3-2-1 Contact". Then I looked over and saw what forum it was in.

Damn you, Martin.

Well since this is the music forum, I'd better post the lyrics:

Whenever there's trouble.

We're there on the double.

We're the bloodhound gang.

If you've got the crime.

We've got the time.

We're the bloodhound gang.

Square pegs! Square pegs!

Their songs are kind of dumb, but pretty catchy. If I can find it cheap, I'll probably pick it up.

No one got my joke.

The last line of the lyrics that I posted was from a completely different song by a completely different band from a completely differrent TV show.

I got it. I don't think anyone else is awake, or they don't care. With a lot of people around here, I would tend to lean toward the latter.

Thanks for the acknowledgement.

I doubt the lack of responses was because people were sleeping. Who sleeps for 26 hours in a row?

BHG will always be my favorite band. Can't explain why, really. Must be their juvenile lyrics and infantile humor written by a vocalist with a third grade mentality or it could be their clever rock/hip-hop/electronic fusion....or their live shows where Jimmy Pop invites the ladies onstage during the Vagina song to flash their breasts....or it could be because Bam Margera is their manager and I've discovered a new found faith in the state of Pennsylvania....

Anyway, I've been waiting over 4 years for this bad boy and it'll be in my greedy, miscreant hands the day it's released. 'Hooray for Boobies' still gets weekly spins on my iPod but strangely enough, just doesn't get old.

In the meantime, go place your vote:

and while your'e at it, lift your head up high and blow your brains out!

Has anyone found a pic of the CD yet??? I saw a picture of Jimmy Pop with a "hefty" woman, but Lupus(the guitarist) said it wasn't the cover. I can't wait for this album. BHG rules. Their concerts are definitely in a league of their own.

The cd is out. Very light on content with an attempt to make up for it by having a fat guy stuffed in a box on the cover. The songs are good but we waited 5 years for 9 new songs. What is Jimmy Pop really doing? Couldn't they have served us a full plate of songs and not just an extended EP?
