$5 games at Wal-Mart (YMMV obviously)

Dozens of titles, mainly Xbox, at the Sterling store today.

Fatal Frame
Fatal Frame 2
Pro Fishing Challenge
Amped 2
The Thing
Spider-Man 2
Unreal 2
Raze's Hell
Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup
Metal Arms
Breakdown
LOTR: ROTK
Panzer Dragoon Orta

Lots more, but these are what I bought. Most are blind buys. Any warnings or recommendations before I open them? Thanks.

That's a great price for Amped 2. I might have to go look into this.

Are these sales something where you have to have the cashier ring them up to get the price? Or are they in a bin somewhere? Or are they labeled at $5 in the glass case?

If you decide you don't want Fatal Frame 2 and/or you can get another, please lmk As for the games you picked up - most are great games, especially for $5, but I don't know about Raze's Hell - that got some pretty medicore reviews.

They were on an endcap in some bins. All were clearly marked $5. There were maybe 100 total games there, maybe 70 of them xbox, the rest a mix of Cube and PS2.

If I go back there soon I'll look for extras of the titles you all asked for above.

Nothing at my local Wal-Mart was on display and when i had them price check Raze's Hell it was still 19.99.

Well if anyone finds Fatal Frame 2, Amped 2 or in particular the Harry Potter game for the Xbox for this price let me know and i will gladly reimburse them for the game, shipping, and a little extra. I'm especially interested in the HP game because my wife said she would like to play that one.

Nice, WALMART is ALWAYS YMMV.....so it's doubtful many other stores will have this deal. I would pick up most of those for $5 though

The only one I've opened so far is Raze's Hell.

I spent an hour or so on it and it was pretty fun actually. My nephew is on the way over and I hope to convince him to go thru it co-op with me.

Sorry to post such a YMMV deal, but hopefully someone will find a good deal.

I might be in Sterling tomorrow, so maybe I should buy a bunch of these for any of you who want them? Post your want lists here.

Spider-Man 2
Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup

For PS2 or Gamecube. I've got both, but no Xbox. Thanks.

My wantlist is:
1. Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup
2. Fatal Frame 2
3. Amped 2

all for Xbox

I would be very stoked for any of these - the first one in particular.

Trevor,
Thanks for this info! I swung by the same Wally World in Sterling and picked up a few titles (Amped 2, Orta, LOTR: ROTK).

xmiyux,
I can swing back by and pick up those titles if you want (it's only about 10 minutes from my house). They still had all 3 of those in stock. I didn't see your post before I left work or I would have picked them up while I was there.

Wish List: Fatal Frame 2 and Metal Arms.

I'll throw in some extra cash if someone is cool enough to pick these up for me.

Primal,
Yeah if you snag those three Xbox titles for me i will gladly repay you for them as well as shipping and effort. I keep hearing FF2 is good, snowboarding games are always good, and any game i can get my wife to play is worth dropping some cash on. Let me know.

I didn't find Spider-Man 2 and Fatal Frame for $5, but I did find Spider-Man 1 and Big Mutha Truckers for only $15. Yay, go me!

Trevor, I've already fulfilled xmiyux's list.
If I get a chance today, I might swing by the Wal-Mart in Fair Lakes to see if they any titles on closeout.

Thanks for the fast response, I was worried that might happen..... I'll delete his 3 titles off my list.

I'll post what they had left when I get home tonight.
