Entourage "I Love You Too" 7/31/05

Vince makes a splash at a convention with his new co-star; Eric and Shauna cannot appease a bitter journalist; Ari gives Drama a birthday gift.

I love the slam on Harry at AICN!

Edit to add:

I LOVE Jesse Jane!

and

I hate U2 and think they wasted 5 minutes of the show on them.

Good ep. Love U2 and liked the shout out to Johnny Drama, though the scene went a little long.

Mandy Moore, Vanessa Angel, and Teagan Presley. 'Nuff said.

Weak episode, in my opinion. Comic book/SciFi fans as pathetic geeks has been done to death already, and nothing was done to further the main Aquaman plot. Yes, Vince still has feelings for Mandy, we get it.

And what the hell was with that five minute blowjob for U2 at the end?
Geez, I haven't experienced such a blatant lathering of a band since Raj, DeWayne, and Rerun saw the Doobie Brothers.

Agree about the bullshit U2 sequence at the end. The show is short enough, they don't need to waste time like that. But I really, really liked this episode overall. Thought it was way better than last weeks.

I know it has to do with budget, but I thought it was funny how Comic-Con had an attendance of about 100 people.

As for U2, I like them and everything, but that was terrible.

adding u2, made the show longer, it actually filled out the full 30 mins this ep, as opposed to ending with 5 mins to go.

Watching the wc broadcast...

"He can sink a movie faster than Stephen Dorff."

"I don't like classically beautiful women. Give me a nose break or a lazy eye." Drama

At least Rainn Wilson wasn't as annoying as he was on The Office.

Jesse Jane must be the most famous of the three pornstars, or the best actress, to get all the lines cause she's imo the worst looking of the three (in this ep anyway). I'm guessing she looks better in her regular work.

Halfway through season 2 and I still can't stand Turtle.

The 5 min BJ to U2 is because Jermey Piven had Bono say the line to Drama. Piven met him backstage, the night before and asked him if he could say something on the mic about Drama for the show. I guess the producers felt it was a way of saying " thanks ".

Also, finally an episode that was 30 mins, and felt like it was 30 mins.

Did anyone else notice how badly Vanessa Angel has aged since the days of Weird Science and Kingpin? She still looks pretty attractive, but wow. 1996 was not all that long ago.

Yeah, Ms. Angel has aged a bit. But she sure can still fill out a swimsuit.

Man, I've gotta agree about the U2 close. I had an undeniable "Hey Brenda, Guess Who's Playing At The Peach Pit!" stink on it.

If there's a possible Achilles heel to this show, it's the constant temptation of Star F-ing. This one crossed the line.

Great to see Jesse, Teegan, and Devon.

"Because of this, you've been downgraded to Ari Silver."

The U2 concert earns a even though I think they are a great band. Reminded me of the 90210 episode with the Stones.

Care to explain this?

I wonder if Harry Knowles really is the big asshole they made him out to be (I know that was supposed to be him)? Glad I DVRd this ep. in HD, this was actually my favorite of the season next to Cannes, of course maybe it's because I'm such a geek and all (never been to con though). In all honesty, this show really is hard to fully enjoy without being a geek, whether it be of film or comics. That said, I love U2, but this is a shameless plug if I ever saw one in my life. As is typical, my DVR cut off before the show was over, which wouldn't be a problem if it were like a typical ep. , but seeing as how it was just U2, no problem. Can anyone tell me what happened after Bono yelled out to Johnny Drama?

At least we learned about the dangers of bootlegging. Wow - I can't believe I actually remember that episode.

I find this funny since one of the series elements of the whole series is the star fucking Vinnie and his boys get. I am not a U2 fan, and the only problem I have with this episode, is that it is TOO short. If this show was an hour or 45 minutes stuff like this would be fine.

Wow, didn't know there were so many U2 haters here. Is it political or musical? I didn't mind the U2 ending. Can't wait until they turn Vinnie's raven locks into blonde ones for Aquaman. That will be some funny shit.

Well, Doc, comedy is about timing... as most would agree. Even when it comes to starfucking.

When Pauly Shore is on for 30 seconds being ushered out of the Playboy Mansion, the gag works.

Hell, when Bob Saget gets 5 minutes as a drugged-up purveyor of whoredom, the gag works.

But a 10 minute, MTV-slick lingering on U2 isn't funny. It hardly helps to move along the plot. It just says 'look who we got to book'.

That aside, how soon before Johnny Drama gets his spinoff?
