Almost all DVD preorders with an MSRP of $39.99 are listed at amazon for 27.99... Point Pleasant is the same price... Usually on release day you can find them in the stores for $24.99 though

I doubt it, because season one had an MSRP of like $26.98, but Season two's MSRP is ($39.99). The reason for the price jump is that the first season was two discs with six episodes, where as the second season had 18 episodes and three discs... so if you think about it if you pay $27.99 for season two, your actually paying less (per episode) than you did with your 19.99 for season one.

Season One = ($4.50 per episode MSRP; $3.33 per episode if you payed $20)

Season Two = ($2.22 per episode MSRP; $1.55 per episode if you pay $27.99)

I would have thought I could find it at Best Buy or something for $25 but I doubt it now with their pricing, I am guessing they will sell it for $32.99.

Circuit city might list this one at or around $25, its is a rather popular release and they have had a history of releasing $39.99 MSRP's at $25.99 on the release week. But if you figure taz, amazon is still cheaper.
