What's Your Favorite Johnny Depp Role?

Johnny Depp has had an interesting acting career of a lot of different characters (so many good ones that choosing 9 of them for this 10-limited poll was tough).

So which one of Depp's many roles is your favorite?

Hmm.. I haven't seen FaLiLV or CatCF.

But both Ed's are very special to me. As is Don Juan Demarco and Benny and Joon. Tough choice.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO, definitely. I also enjoyed his recent appearances in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN (though some of his dialogue is a bit too mumbled to easily make out) and SECRET WINDOW.

Have to go with "Fear and Loathing." It may not be the best movie ever, although I quite like it, but Depp's HST riff is just amazing. Close seconds Pirates, Ed Wood and Edward Scissorhands, though...

Once Upon a Time in Mexico is tough to watch. That whole bit with the eyes creeped me out and I turned it off. I just get an ookey feeling whenever someone's eyes are messed with in movies.

While I have a soft spot for Edward Scissorhands and Ed Wood, I have to say my favorite character at the moment is Cap'n Jack Sparrow, although Raoul Duke could easily edge that out.

He just looked like he was having a blast with the pirate role.

Ed Wood and Jack Sparrow are my favs right now. Wish I coudl vote for em both. I voted for Sparrow since its a little more wackier and fictional than Ed Wood.

Fear and Loathing is my favorite. He seemed to hit that pretty dead on, and his little quips are always entertaining.

My favorite film featuring Depp would be easily Dead Man however his best acting performance is probably Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I haven't seen all the movies in the list. But of the ones I've seen, I like Pirates of the Caribbean the best. Followed by Edward Scissorhands.

I've only seen A Nightmare On Elm Street,Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow and select episodes of 21 Jump Street, so with all those roles in mind my choice is Edward Scissorhands.
