What happened to Gamefly?
I rejoined Gamefly about two weeks ago and it's been a terrible experience. I have received a whopping 1 game on the 2 out plan since signing back up two weeks ago. They have said they have shipped games out, but I never receive them and on top of all that, they make me wait for a week in order for me to claim them as being lost. Taking into the consideration that I'm only a day away (via USPS and about 45 minutes in a car) from them, waiting a week is lame. Also, I have noticed that almost every new title within the last two months are on waits, I used to never have waits before. So, what has happened to them? Because they use to be so good and now they stink.

During my free month, they claimed to lose three games that I returned -- all were placed inside US Mail mailboxes at the post office. Though I wasn't charged for them, it did suck. Their shipments were painfully slow, usallly a week turn around time. I cancelled after my free month.

However bad Gamefly might be, they have to be better than Gameznflix. They don't even carry many recent movies or games (ie Halo 2 Expansion, Metal Slug 4/5, Million Dollar Baby, among many others).

Is there anyway I can change the name of this thread to "Gamefly sucks really bad". They're a joke. They have the worst service of any company I have ever tried on the net. I never receive games from them and they're beyond slow taking care of problems.
So I log into my account today and see a link at the top of the page that says there's a problem with my account and email customer service. I know there's a problem with me account, I HAVENT RECEIVED GAMES IN OVER A WEEK AND A HALF. Plus, why would I email them if my account is having problems, HELLO MCFLY, why don't you guys email me! Who am I suppose to email when you guys put on my account to email you because there's a problem. What a bunch of morons!

Whats even worse if that if you dont get a game and email them about it it might take 3-5 days usually before they reply with a definite answer on sending out a replacement. This happened with Conker for xbox when it first came out. Never got it for 2 weeks and I couldnt even find a # to call them on unless you try to cancel or google them. I will cancelling after this month.

I just went to Del Taco and GameFly is doing some promotion with them giving away 2 million free months. They can't even handle their current amount of members and not they want to give away 2 mil free months! These guys are definately lost! Anybody try any other Game rental sites? I used to use BB in store rentals, but they never have anything in stock (kinda like Gamefly(.

Both BB and HWV have in store "game plans", personally I've found the 2 free coupons from BB online enough to keep me going.
WRT Gamefly I only use them for purchasing games now, which still goes rather well, the rental thing just never worked out for me. Regarding other sites I also tried triggerfingers for awhile. They are in Colorado so shipping was decent, I don't recall the selection being all that great and the website was seriously lacking.

Anyway, I just got Gamefly and well...the service is pretty slow so far.
I'll update after a few weeks.
