Finally the French release along with its forced subs can be laid to rest!
BTW the master used is the same for the postponed Anchor Bay R1 release - and it's a cracker!
Couple of comparison shots:
Comparison 1 (French Top UK Bottom)
Comparison 2 (French Top UK Bottom)
Available from the usual suspects!

I had the UK disc yesterday and -yes- it has a very slightly cleaner image, but nothing that I'd fall over myself to update plus it's just a whole lot brighter to me than the French disc
Sadly, save for a trailer/TV spot and commentary that's all Mosaic could cough up in the way of extras. Commentaries bore me usually so I like to see interviews with the cast and technicians.
Alternate US poster
On a side note I thought the film had dated terribly and was shockingly bad. I suppose it's been 2 decades since I saw it on VHS and things change.
I see Amazon.com have a confirmed date of January 2010
I realise that's standard for withdrawn DVDs but it's funny to read the VERY angry comments.
