the s70 is just over 300 with the above coupons. youd have to add a cheap item to get over 500

I'm assuming these are not one time use coupon codes?
BTW I hate you Phammy for posting this deal. :(

I still have my G3 I bought from Dell a few years back and paid over $600 for it. The G3 is such a great camera but I would LOVE to upgrade to a G6. And
at this price I probably could just add it my already large Dell account. :D
What to do, what to do???
Digital cameras are like guns, you can never have too many, right?!? :)

Yeah. I think my wife is about ready to divorce me.
I've upgraded my camera at least once a year for the past several. Although I wait for good (Dell) deals and sell my old camera for about what I originally paid for it.
Last year picked up the S70 before Xmas. Sold my S400 and bought my parents a new S410 for Xmas for what I sold the S400.
I picked up an A95 a few months ago, thinking my wife and I needed our own cameras, but didn't find myself using it, so will give to the in-laws.
Also picked up an S500 from Officemax a few months ago for $200. I plan on selling that one on ebay.
Today my Digital Rebel XT is supposed to arrive from Staples!!!
I gotta stop this.
It all started around 1998...
Kodac DC210? 1mp
Olympus C-2000z 2mp (was about $900 thru Amazon, but I used GC's I had gotten free from Beanz!)
Nikon 995 3mp
Canon S400 4mp
Canon S70 7mp + A95 5mp + S500 5mp (to sell) + Digital Rebel XT 8mp

Yeah I know. I bought a Canon G1 when it first came out and I think I paid close to $800 for it. I eventually ebayed that and bought a G3.
Before that I bought my wife a 1.3 MP Canon A10 which I got on a deal from Staples and paid $100 for it. We still have that and it still really works great actually.
I still have my Kyocera SL300R which I got just because the design and size made it so cool.
I have a Canon mini DV camcorder which I never use because I prefer to just use the little movie mode on one of the digital still cameras if I want video.
I'm still thinking over this G6.

How's it compare with the Canon PowerShot Pro1 8.3MP Digital Camera for $499 ?
Am I doing something wrong or is this deal dead? I tried to enter the promotional codes but they didnt work. Hopefully some more good deals will come along through Dell as I am shopping around for a camera.

could you share some of your custom settings for the G3 that you used to take great quality outdoor and indoor pictures. thanks
someguy on Fatwallet is selling the G6 for $377 plus shipping; if you happened to miss out on the deal.
which is a better camera, the S70 or the G6?

you can't really compare the s70 to the g6. they're designed for two different applications. the g6 should produce better images if that's what you're asking.

So... One is for producing better images...
What is the application of the other??? :hscratch:

G6 has a larger, better lens, better zoom. s70 is more compact. just depends on what type of a camera you're looking for.

recieved mine today... you'd think dell would consider actually packing items with more than empty space to protect shipments.
