Anyone have trouble finding Dead Like Me Season 2?

None at the Best Buy I went to tonight, and I just checked BB.com, and there are none showing anywhere in the surrounding area (Tampa, FL.). Anyone find this on store shelves today?

There were only two at my Best Buy in south Jersey. I grabbed one of them.

Did you check both the "new release" section and the TV on DVD section? My Best Buy only stocked them in the TV on DVD section despite this being advertised in the Sunday flyer. There were plenty of copies though (probably 6 or so, which I think is good for a title like this).

It was hard for me to find one at Best Buy that didn't have smashed corners. Some of them were really mangled.

I was amazed that Wal-Mart had any. I just expected this to be a TV title they pass on. I went ahead and ordered it online some time ago thinking I wouldn't be able to find it locally.

While I did save about 6.00 by ordering online I had to e-mail Playcentric.com today to see when they expected the set to ship. Oh well. I still have Constantine and Sliders to keep me busy until it arrives.

My circuit city didn't have any. Best buy had about 4 copies. They split their TV section into different categories (ie, HBO, Comedy, Regular TV series) so you probably missed it. I had to ask a blue shirt to find it for me.

There were a handful of them at my Best Buy when I picked this up yesterday morning. I had to go to the TV on DVD section to find it.

a little trouble. Circuit City never got it in, and it wasn't on any of their release book schedules. the Best Buy closest to me only got in I think 6, and I managed to snag the last copy today.

somewhat off topic, but I wish they would've stuck with the cool slipcover they had on Season 1.

At my BB, there were a few on a table with some other recent TV releases and then the rest were in the TV section. None to be found in the New Releases, but there were probably about 15 copies total between the two locations when I got mine yesterday afternoon.

My Best Buy had about 20 or so copies, I'd guess. Some were on the new release display table, some were on the new release DVD rack, and a few were in the regular TV section.

It was on sale for $30.

While this isn't specifically about finding it, is anyone else having audio dropouts on this? I just finished up the first disc, and I've encountered probably a dozen or so stutters and audio dropouts (almost like a layer change). I'm playing it on a Philips dvp642, and it's never given me problems like this with any other disc.

Is this happening randomly or can you cite specific scenes?

Did Dead Like Me ever find a new home for Season 3? Or is this it?

I'm having the same problems, video stutters/audio dropouts every 5 minutes or so (during scene changes). I'm also using a Philips 642. I've only watched the first episode so far.

Well, I just finished watching Ep 5, and noticed several dropouts as well. Here's the times:

3:15
25:08
36:23

I haven't checked this on any other players, so I don't know if it's an isolated problem to the Philips or not.

It's done. Mandy Patinkin will be in a show called Criminal Minds in the fall.

Playcentric sent me some e-mail about how they didn't have enough copies and that they were working with their backup supplier to find copies. I told em where to stick my order. I've never had that happen with an online retailer since I started buying DVDs online.

I went up to Wal-Mart and they have 2 copies left. One had "The Crusher", that black security device that destroys the case, on it and the other one was in the sealed glass case.

I got mine at walmart since i live right down the street from one. I never knew this show had such a following. I guess since no one i knew ever heard of it, you just kinda assume that its not that popular. Then again i guess it has to do in the area i live in.
