Outland- Better Picture Quality In Other Regions?

Hi all, the thread header pretty much says it all. The region 1 transfer of this movie is horrible and I'm curious as to how it looks in other regions- if I can get a better disc than the one I have, I'll be happy to toss my region 1 copy and buy a better one! If it is better, it would be much appreciated if you point me in the direction of a good online retailer to pick it up as I pretty much have no knowledge where the best place is to buy. Thanks!

Good question! Unfortunately don't bother with the R2 Japanese NTSC edition -- it's the same awful transfer as the R1. I heard from a friend of mine that the UK release is supposedly better, but after being burned from my Japan experience I never bothered to check it out.

Thanks for the heads up Hockeyman! From what little I see on a few online stores the UK release seems like it would be better, but until I hear from from someone who's seen it, I'm like you and hesitant to try it....
