Would you buy StarCraft or Diablo II for DS/PSP?
Blizzard ask readers if they would buy a PSP or DS version of Diablo II if a wireless enabled multiplayer mode was included.
Rumours that a handheld port of Blizzard's Diablo II is in the works have emerged after Blizzard sent out a newsletter asking readers if they would consider buying a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS version of if Diablo II featuring wireless multiplayer. In the same news letter Blizzard asked readers if they would buy a DS version of the classic RTS game Starcraft.

I think Diablo2 (or a clone) would play well on either handheld.
Starcraft would work much better on DS than on PSP, IMHO.
But I probably wouldn't buy either one.

No.
I played the hell out of the first Diablo, and pretty much killed any desire I have to play any more of those type of games ever. Just too repetitive. Once was enough. I get bored to death trying to play a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance or the like today.
As for StarCraft, another no. I played it some in college and just couldn't really get into it. RTS games just arent' my cup of tea.

starcraft would be fun with friends if they updatede it and added anything. I don't want to simply buy a new version of the game I already own but haven't been interested in playing in years. Same for Diablo. Give me a new story, new features, give me a reason to buy it or the handheld to play it on for that matter. I loved both these games, like 6 years ago that is.

I would buy either for the DS (once i have a DS). I havent played the diablo games (got diablo 2 at the same time as world of warcraft) and i love starcraft and would play it again/more.

How about porting one (D2) to the Xbox or PS2?

Both of those games are pefectly suited for the DS, using the touch screen and extra screen for the HUD and unit info and such.
If starcraft DS does come out, it will probably be online, I don't know if I can take the starcraft addiction again, I played that game to death. I already mentioned in another thread I'm addicted to Meteos already .

I would go for either on the DS and Diablo on the DS, no for PSP.
