The Bridge of San Luis Rey - De Niro, Keitel, Bryne - 10/11/05

I may pick this up to add to my De Niro collection, but I have read mixed reviews.

Further Details
New Line Home Entertainment has announced The Bridge of San Luis Rey which stars Robert De Niro, Kathy Bates, Harvey Keitel and Gabriel Bryne. The film is set in Peru during the 18th century, in which five people, on separate journeys for different reasons, cross the bridge at San Luis Rey by happenstance at the same time on the fateful day of July 20, 1714. When the bridge collapses, all five plunge to their deaths in the deep gorge below. After their burial, Brother Jupiter (Bryne) embarks on a controversial study to determine the connections between those lost in the catastrophe. The film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo Surround tracks. As far as we know, no extra material will be included. Stay tuned for the official region one package artwork.

Interesting, it's funny how De Niro, Keitel and Abraham all look the same.
