Totally expected that from George - I was just waiting for him to say it.
Glad to see David and Keith getting somewhere with that kid. Ditching the porn in some alley dumpster was funny.
If that dude turns out to be a non-psycho (Claire might just be in her first non-psycho relationship - that is if they get together). I read that Kal Penn (from Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle) was supposed to play the lawyer. That place she is working at is scary. If I worked there and had to hear "Yeah, baby" that many times - I would go insane.
This whole Maggie thing is frustrating me. What are her motives?

I think it was das that said he was sick of the openings where they tried to fool us on who was going to die. I don't think they have done that once at all this year. Speaking of das, does he even watch this show anymore? Does anyone? Seems these threads never get past a page this season.

I'd be curious how the ratings have held up over the years for this show. I'm still a devoted fan and enjoyed last night's episode. I totally saw that coming from George as well. He's still quite the ladies man.

I'm still watching! Obviously we're moving towards some resolutions, but I expect there will some painful moments in the last few weeks.
I'm definitely going to miss this one once it's gone.

I watch just about everything, so it's unlikely I'd bail on one of the best shows on television. I too am pleased that the "fake-out" death thing went away midway through last season.
As to the episode, I keep waiting for Delores Herbig to pop out of the shadows. Yeah, baby.
Honestly, it's hard to read/post about these episodes as the realization sets in that it's almost over.

I, for one, thought it was needed. I just can't see a family (even if it is a tv family) coming up with hilarious comments in the moment to break from the strain of death all the time. Life isn't like that. And I am glad the writers are showing/showed that.
I have enjoyed the show over its entire run and, IMO, SFU is probably the best television show I have ever seen. And I will cherish my memories of it forever.

Looks like the writers found a new gimmick to pound us over the head with.
Overall, this season is sorta pissing me off. Ruth was never my favorite character, but I always respected her. This season she's just a raving bitch. All the characters' story lines have taken really unpleasant turns and except David & Keith, I'm not enjoying catching up with any of them. It's almost like Alan Ball wants people to not miss the show by making it as unpleasant as possible. I mean come on, Nate gets suckered into his second loveless marriage in as many years? Seems unlikely for a guy who's pretty together and not particularly needy. I'm still watching it, but a lot of my love for this show is gone now, I'm afraid.
...and to Frank TJ Mackey, you might want to spoilerize your post. I read the same thing in the TV Guide article and was pissed for reading that much. I don't want anyone else's season to be spoiled more than it already is.

I was pretty bored for most of this episode, but it paid off in the last 15 minutes. That exchange between Rico and Ruth was pretty freaky when he started daydreaming. Then Ruth has her own outbursts. Of course she's not daydreaming, she just blurts it right out for everyone to hear. "I'm not angry! RUTH SMASH!"

Yeah, too bad Dead Like Me was on Showtime, having a crossover between 6FU and DLM could have been an interesting experiment.
I still think Claire is working at Happy Time.

Been on vacation...finally got to this one. Will see the most recent episode tomorrow.
I just gotta mention the lighting once again. It's like another character. Just love it.
And I'm feeeling for Rico the most right now. As many have said some of the main characters are a bit annoying, but I think they'll come around in the end, but what is Rico gonna do? Loveless marriage but with his kids. Or get out of there, but lose time with his two sons. Tough call.
