Thanks OP. Picked up The Who Live at the Royal Albert Hall. I've passed that over at $20 for awhile, but for $5.99, why not.

I also grabbed The Who Live at Royal Albert Hall, which strangely, DDD shows as a pre-order. If you go to DDD and select the music category and sort by price, you will find many more titles for $5.99.

I think every title in the Music Blowout section is listed as a pre-order for 8/9/05 or something like that.

Sometimes when I've preordered a price drop (like these) DDD has shipped what they have in stock. You might not have to wait until 8/9. (I ordered The Who, too).

I urge everyone to drop the $5.99 and get Henry Rollins Live at Luna Park. Very funny stuff, especially his story of his "war" with Iggy Pop.

Thanks for the tip, there are a whole lot more. It is a pain to go through a few on a single page, is there an easier way to see all titles?

Why is the Matchbox Twenty VH1 Storytellers considered as a pre-order? Wassup with that?

I was going to get Tina Turner "Celebrate" but since I already have live in Amsterdam, I probably won't.

When a dvd has a (manufacturer) price drop, it often shows up as a pre-order, indicating the date on which the price is set to drop (and when they expect to get more stock). Sometimes, they actually send the disc out of available stock before that date, but it is best not to expect them to do so.

did anyone have their order cancelled for no apparent reason? I was using Bill me later and DDD said they could not get an authorization from BML, so I called and BML said that no charge had been tried on my account and my account was fine. So I called DDD and they said the order was cancelled on Sat. ehich is when I placed it and couldn't find a reason as to why it was cancelled.

Yeah, looks like The Who Royal Albert Hall is back up around $20. But my order is still listed. Regarding cancelling orders, I don't think orders that went through on these will be cancelled. I think this pricing was legit, but just short-lived. I just think you got unlucky dolfan.
