Beauty and the Geek: The Aftermath

Okay I've decided in order for Season 2 to be as good, if not, better than the 1st we have to have male Beauties and female Geeks. I know it doesn't work with the title of the show, but you could have Beauty and the Geek: The Geeks Strike Back.

What happened to Eric, Cheryl's partner, he was not on the show?

I could not tell who was getting more action in that hour, Joe or Richard.

it's one of those double standard things... no one will watch.. it's the same reason they don;'t do an Average Joe with chicks

I was wondering the same thing. I don't recall that they even mentioned him and they barely even showed him in the clips.

I wondered about Eric as well.

The reunion show was a mess. Poor editting. Some things from previews were cut, like Mindi imitating Richard's entry.

God I hate Richard. And Chuck.

That "reunion" show seemed REALLY staged. After Mindi went up and kissed Richard he said something like "I told her not to use her tongue..." After he said that Mindi had this "what did he just say?" look on her face. We saw the whole thing and he never said a word while she was kissing him. So when did he tell her not to use her tongue?? Backstage while the whole thing was being planned out?

I know a lot of reality shows aren't fully "reality," but this reunion show kind of irked me.

Just watched the encore. I don't know about it being staged, but the editing WAS terrible. There was obviously a lot of filler crap they had planned, to make it like the Survivor reunion show (all the recaps, the thing with the map). All that stuff took away time from the actual interesting, possibly spontaneous things that happened or could've happened.

No mention of the missing guy. Curious myself when one of the girls came on the show unescorted.

Reunion show was kind of boring and probably too soon.

I'd agree with someone else's suggestion early in the series, don't eliminate anybody. Figure out some way for a winner to be chosen without kicking people off the show. It got less interesting as each week passed.

They really had a hard time stretching that son of a bitch past a half hour.

Mindi looked even better than she did when they filmed the show.

My suggestion.

Yeah, Mindi looked better. She went blonde for one thing.

I claimed in the first show thread that with different hair and glasses, Eric and the host were the same guy. You never saw them in the same camera shot, and the reunion show proves it!

This will never work.

Of all the people that I know who are over the age of 30 who have never had a romantic relationship, 100% of them are male.

Where would you find any women for your proposal? Such women do not exist.

The losing beauty was a sorority member here at the University of Missouri. I had never heard of this show before two weeks ago. Since then its been on news and papers almost daily somehow.

You can never meet enough people to make an absolute assumption. Anytime a call is put out for a certain type of person, there always seems to be plenty of examples coming forward. I have no doubt they would find their 7 if they decide to reverse the roles.

This show had nothing to do with Thirtysomething(s), if memory served there was only one (1) male above the age of 30 on the 1st season.

I can think of a number of places where I can locate half a dozen twentysomething females that would make Joe and/or Richard look like pimps and/or players.

I can't even remember who Eric is (the missing guy). Anyone got a pic?

And while you're at it, let's see some Mindi pics too!

What I said also holds true for people that I know who are over the age of 20 who have never had a romantic relationship. All of them are male.

Where are these places that you speak of?

Are these women heterosexual, intelligent, and able bodied?

I still think the first girl to get the boot was the most interesting looking one, too bad she couldn't stick around all that long. The guy from Mississippi (moving to Atlanta for grad school) needs to make it work with Barbie-wannabe, I think she got a kind heart, and she really is into him.

You NEED to get out more!

Without even really thinking about places here are two (2) that come to mind:

churches
college (more specifically grad school [read Med School])

You are showing your ignorance with your last statement.

I went to college for 4 years and I've never met any such women there.

I've been to synagogue several times and I've never met any such women there.

According to the Beauty and The Geek forum on TWOP, Eric was on a backpacking tour of Europe and the PTB couldn't get ahold of him in time to attend the "Aftermath" show. (If anyone wants to check out the forum there-Chuck and Shawn are there answering questions/posting behind the scenes stuff.)

Heres the link to the website: http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/

Beauty and The Geek thread is located in the "Competitive Reality Shows" forum. Here is that link: http://forums.televisionwithoutpity....?showforum=661
(Scroll down a tad and you will see Beauty and The Geek thread-thats if its still on the front page-which it is still is as of this writing.)

LB...
