Does Game Crazy have trade-in deals? (JoshUnt?)

I'm about to unload 2 consoles + 16 games prepping for the next generation. I've considered the Ebay route but it's too much of a PITA. There are no Game Rush's in the state I live.

So does Game Crazy have any good trade-in deals? Should I wait for one?

Thanks

EB and Gamestop tend to have ok deals around a new consoles launch for trading consoles and their games toward the new one.

I'm afraid the value of the consoles and games will only drop in that time.

Yeah, I'd try the forum first....you'll get screwed at most places (besides GameRush...but they ever screw you on consoles) and you don't have one, so it does not matter.

And they could have been NFL Fever 2001, 2002, Madden 2001, etc. If you don't like the trade-in prices at a store, DON'T trade them in. Not one person is forcing you too. However, when customers think they will get $30 for their disc only Madden 2001 on ebay, I would just say 'Yeah, its pretty tough to find".

I took a lot of older games to Gamestop with an Xbox and got $246 in store credit towards Xbox 360. They had a deal if you are a member to Game Informer you get 50% more trade in value. So the memebership costs $15 and after I paid for it I had $246 left. There is a coupon in the current GI for this deal. I think I got $75 for my Xbox so with the 50% more it came to $110 which I thought was really good...

Ebay would probably be your best bet. I mean I sold my broken PS2 for 55 bucks.

Very cool, how many games did you trade in? All you need is the coupon right? Not necessarily a subscription?

I took about 17 games I think. Only game with value was Halo 2. The others were like XIII, the original Splinter Cell, and FIFA 2004. So It is hard to get a lot for these games. Yeah all you need is that coupon. I did trade 3 of the origianl controllers in too, but those could not have been for much.

Actually they were not sports games, although i can't remember what they were if they were sports games i would have understood. Sports games never get much after the years over. Please do not insult my intelligence by assuming that I was ignorant enough to overlook that fact. I know you cannot get much for sports games when the new ones come out, but please don't assume i would post this without having known that he actually was not getting anywhere near what he should have gotten.

Bump. I was looking thru a Game Informer today and couldn't find this coupon. Can you please describe it in more detail? Thx

So what's going price for an Xbox + 16 games + 2 controllers on Ebay? Is $250 way too much? $200?

Depends on the games...Id expect somewhere next to $250 or so...but if you want to sell, do it now before the flood of Xbox's when the 360 comes out.
