Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Boxset?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find another thread.

Has there been any official announcement of an Evangelion Platinum Collection boxset? I'm assuming it would be cheaper to get them all that way, although if there is only rumors maybe I'll try to track down the individual disks at retail and at least get the slipcovers.

Anything's possible. The fact that it is their "crown jewel" is actually a reason for yet another release. Anything to get more money from the consumers.

So I should probably just get the version of the first disk that comes with the box, and the rest of them individually then? And they will all come with the slip cases?

Any suggestions on where to get them all that way at the best price? Did I blow it by not getting them at the DDD sale?

Yeah, you kinda did. Woulda been way cheap with the DDD sale. But no point worrying about that now.

your best bets are Deepdiscountdvd or Bestprices.com

Thanks. I actually did order the Perfect Box during the DDD sale, only to find out from a friend that I shouldn't open it.

If a Platinum box was in the works, I wouldn't feel so stupid about it.

If you can live without the box, then check your local Best Buy. They have volume 1 for $11.99.
