Well then. I'll get it, but they sure dropped the ball on this one. There are at least five matches I don't want on this and another five that should've been here, but aren't.

Man they really skimped on his matches from the early years. That's what I wanted out of this release. Still I'll pick this up, as this will be the first decent Undertaker dvd release.

Christ, what's the use of having the rights to the old WCW footage if they're not going to use it?
I'm sure part of the reason is Mark (Undertaker) himself. He never drops the character, according to what I hear, so he probably wouldn't want any of the "Mean Mark" days on the DVD.
Sometimes I wonder about the mental health of wrestlers. They seem to be unable to realize that they are actors portraying characters. You don't see Patrick Stewart wandering around insisting that everyone call him "Captain," do you?

Cause his WCW days were nothing to remember. The Undertaker is probably the greatest characters and wrestler ever assembled. That's what he'll forever be remembered for, and that's what should be on the DVD.
What is disappointing is not enough old school pre attitude era stuff. And though not as disappointing, there’s no ministry of darkness.
Still a great DVD.

This is History of Undertaker.
It is not History of Mean Mark Callous, History of Sky Scrapers. HIstory of Master of Pain.
Undertaker was never in WCW or any other promotion for that matter. So, logic would tell you this is a WWF/E only DVD.

I think he was just joking.
I'm fine without any of the Ministry of Darkness stuff. There are a couple matches from that era, but they're no good. He was awful in the ring at this time and the whole gimmick pushed the boundries of good taste without any real purpose.

im definitely going to buy this dvd set. Only complaint i have is that i dont think both the cena and mcmahon match from 2003 are needed, one would be enough. Instead put in a match from 91-94 to fill in the gap. Possibly the SS 94 match against fake UNdertaker, or even his match at WM 9 against giant gonzalez. Hell. . even a match against kamala or papa shango would have been better.

One DVD is titled: Tombstone: The History of The Undertaker
the other is: Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story
Do you SEE the difference? Chris Benoit is a person that portrayed a gimmick in Wild Pegasus, that is part of HIS history.
The Undertaker is a GIMMICK that did not portray any other characters. If you want to see the other gimmicks, you'll want a DVD that says Mark Calaway in the title, until then,. you're SOL.

Why not his first Memphis Championship Wrestling match? You realize he wrestled before his WCW days, right? I'm sure Jerry Lawler has the footage somewhere.
While we're at it, let's see a match when he was Eric The Red, how about the Master of Pain, 'Mean' Mark Callous, 'Mean' Mark, or the dozen or so other gimmicks that failed horribly.
As I said, this is History of the Undertaker. Prove to me that, once, while he was The Undertaker, he wrestled as another gimmick and I'll agree it should be o the set. You can't. Maybe you should whine and moan about the title before you whine and moan about its contents.

This collection is the shits. The only matches that even worthwhile are the HITC match with Shawn, which has aged really poorly, and the Rock match, which is more about Rock than about Taker. I can't believe that they put the SummerSlam match with Bret Hart on there, as Taker's completely overshadowed by the Shawn/Bret feud. If you can make it through matches 1, 2, and 3 without falling asleep or hitting the FF button, I will give you a dollar.
