Can you not edit posts? I'd like to reduce the size of that image, but I don't see a button to edit anywhere.

Anyway, I'll likely pick up The Aviator!

"Edit" is at the bottom of your post, just left of "Quote".

I'll pass. DDD sale took a chunk and I'm pretty sure these will be $10 soon.

If you take a look at the picture linked below, you'll see that I have no such buttons....I'm confused....I've wondered how people were quoting others!

any chance that you're using Norton Internet Security or something of that nature? I have NIS installed and anytime i want to edit a post or use the quote feature, i have to temporarily disable NIS.

It isn't good form to implicitly (or explicitly) admit to using an ad-blocker on an ad-supported site like dvdtalk.

I use Firefox, so I guess it blocks them. I didn't admit to ****! I had no idea what was causing the problem...all I wanted was for it to be fixed. All you had to say is that you probably have a pop-up blocker that's blocking it!

Well, it isn't Firefox, because many people, myself included, use that. It could be a plug-in, I suppose.

It's the Adblock extension, probably. DVDTalk's forum images are on ads.kleinman.com, so if you've got an Adblock rule to block everything with "ads" in it, that'll do it.

Thank you! It's apparently Adblock, but I can't find out what line of code it is...I don't want to keep the entire plugin disabled, but I'll kindly let ads show up for DVD Talk and forum.

I can tell you for sure, without admitting to anything, that the "quote" and "edit" buttons are still there. the icons are disabled, but the link and the space where they are located are still there. move your mouse over the bottom right of each post and you should see a textbox appear if you pause over the area where the buttons are normally located.

the "edit" button is only located next to your own post of course.

After a somewhat tense time at Wal-Mart with one clerk. I managed to get Fockers, Aviator, Metroid GBA and Lord of the Rings XBOX for their correct Circuit City prices. The clerk and I have had rounds before, but I always am victorious.

Zone Alarm's Ad Block also blocks the images.
