it appears the Phils, as a franchise may have lost their 10,000th game this past weekend.
this is noteworthy because no team in all of sports has lost this many games.
here in the philly area there has been some talk about this loss coming sometime next year.
but a local sports talk show Howard Eskin reported that a team called the Worcester Ruby Legs franchise was moved to phila and became the phils.
the losses they gained in their 3 year existence bumped up number 10K to this past weekend.
i have some mixed feelings on this as i was ooking forward to the count down to 10k next year.
now, no fanfare.
oh well.
