I want more MTV Spiderman!!
I just got done watching the MTV Spiderman froma few years ago. Pretty good show. Good plots and cool action. Would love to see more episodes of it. While I understand that MTV doesn't want it, why not make more episodes and have it air on some other network. It even could work as a Saturday morning show. Other than a few swear words, there was nothing in it that would not be allowed on Satuday. With the popularity of Spiderman due to the movies, I am really surprised that there isn't a Spiderman show on the air.
While it would be great to get the cast back, they can be recast if needed. While making it, they could air the MTV epsisodes to bring people up to speed. They would have to redub a couple of lines to get the swearing out. I remember Flash saying "Ass" a few times so that word would at least need to be changed to "Butt". Season 1 ended with a definate opening for more.

I think the character designs turned off a lot of potential fans. The their necks looks like toothpics. They should've just tried to make them look normal instead of trying to be all artsy with the character designs.

I watched a couple of times but it just was really dull IMHO, the animation looked goofy (why didn't any of them ever change their clothes?) and it wasn't half as true to the characters as earlier Spidey cartoons have been.

I loved the MTV Spiderman series. I thought it was the first animated series to really capture the flexibility and comic book-like poses of Spiderman. Some great action sequences too. Plus it had a kick-ass theme song.
I was sorry to see it go.

I liked it. It was a fairly high concept over some other animated shows. But I agree with Draven that the animation was incredible for Spider-Man's movements during the action sequences. However, the animation could have been done better for the character-driven scenes. I would like to see the show return, hopefully with some of the inherent problems with the animated format corrected.

It has been the only cartoon to give a sense of speed at which spidey moves, there was some action sequence in which spidey was moving really fast, and I cood *feel* the speed, and I got why spidey is a mutant being.
Also love the theme song - it was going on in my head for quite a while.
