Psp Frozen On Please Wait?????

Scared the hell out of me. Anyone else have this problem

Ok using the new Sandisk 1 gig for about 2 weeks now. Last night I had Lumines in the umd drive and right after the ubisoft screen I pressed home to go to the PSP main menu screen. Stuck on please wait which is normal for maybe 3-5 seconds somtimes but mine was stuck on it for about 5 minutes. Would not power off. Would not go into sleep mode. Had to manually take out the battery and it was fine after that. Anyone else have a similar problem so I dont piss in my pants???

It can get frozen, but it will eventually turn off if you just keep holding it. I once had to hold it for 30 seconds after it got frozen, but it did eventually turn off.

If all else fails pull the battery and let it sit for a minute before putting it back in.
