These people are probably more collectors than gamers.

Though to be fair, at least with the old games, a nice TV doesn't matter much. But it is important with the dreamcast and up games as graphics got much better.

He doesn't have it all...

People with rooms like this have never been laid
I bet this guy is missing one key Nintendo collectable, one that I still have after being handed it on campus 5 years ago by Nintendo marketing campaign.

An official Conker's Bad Fur Day condom.

I can tell you this, the thing is made in India with an experation date of 02/2005 I'm sure as hell not going to use it. It would be freaky if someone used one and it was defective. As an effect, Nintendo could have been responsible for creating pregnancies.

Kiddy, Ha! Nintendo creates their own market... Yes it all makes sense now, hand out cheap condoms, increase potential user base. Full circle indeed.

From his FAQ:

I’m 31, Been happily married for 11yrs, and we have a 3yr old son so yes, your all right, I’ll never have a girlfriend. My wife plays video games also and was actually glad to see all my stuff condensed into one room instead of scattered in our living room, office, and various closets, etc. We bought our house in 1995 and I haven’t lived with my parents since 1991 when I was 17.
He also says his TV is a 32", so it looks a lot smaller than it is. Josh called it right about the age, to. He says he only plays old games on there, so he sees no need for a newer one. He also is worried about burn-in.

What I find the most humorous (or pathetic) is that EVERY single thread like this, 2-3 posts down you get the inevitable "This guy never got laid!" or "This guy has too much time on his hands!" post, funnily enough, posted by someone hanging out in an internet forum on a Saturday. They always feel so proud or clever of their work, like the joke has never been done before.

Then of course you get the "This would be cool until you're in the 4th grade!" comment.. again from someone spending his days posting on an internet forum, which is the epitome of what's "cool." I guess it make some people feel better about themselves or "superior" to throw insults at people they've never met, to an audience of people they've never met.

For the record I posted this thread from my pool party. I swam up to the bar and used the laptop next to all my girlfriends in bikinis. FPS on XBox is the only game/platform people should like!

Actually i was up early watching cartoons in my pjs

I have all four Dragon Warriors.. but there's a sad part to the tale. Two years ago, before I really built up my current NES collection, the apartment under mine had been in a fire.. causing some slight damage to ours. Out of all the NES games I had at the time (maybe about 20) the only two that took any damage were Dragon Warrior III and Dragon Warrior IV, both suffering severe case damages. It really pissed me off because the other 18 or so games were all $2-$3 common games, all unscratched.

You are right though, large collections go primarily untouched. I try to make good use of mine but honestly my friends are making the collection worth what I've spent on it. Just this weekend we went through a case of Shiner Bock and played some Ufouria, Little Samson, Mario Bros., Popeye, Trojan and probably a few I'm forgetting.

Ufouria, Little Samson

2 of the best NES games ever. Unfortunately most never had the chance.

ouch! thats rough, I am such an idiot because I sold dragon warrior IV to get some money for some newer stuff a long time ago. And sony is an idiot for not bringing the Playstation version here, ugh! If only you could get Playstation games on Revolution's online service .
