At work, nothing to do, help me spend $15 :)

Hey guys, I have $15 to spend at Best Buy until tomorrow, and have NO idea what to get. My DVD Profiler is up do date, so you can see what I like. I have a nice fresh girlfriend now, so if you sort by date, you see a few more chick flicks, so whatever. Just looking to not lose this coupon. So if you are bored at work, like I am, hel me out with some recomendations.

Thanks guys! And I hope this is an alright post for this forum.

Not a Donnie Darko fan? No Monty Python? Nor Heathers? Citizen Kane but no Casablanca?

Any of these ringing any bells?

I know NOTHING about Donnie Darko (and I will be hitting IMDB right now), never really cared for Python. Heathers, is that that 80's movie with Christian Slater? I got Citizen Kane because it was a misprice at BB, and i knew it was on the top 100 dvd list from 2004. I actually enjoyed the movie. Never saw Casablanca.

Looking into those now. Thanks so far!

Well good call sir, but apparently I never added it to my Profiler, I do indeed have the second one. Great film I also must say.

Your collection looks a lot like mine (only larger!), and I really think everyone should see City of God.

Let me see...

Free time at work? New girlfriend? Money to burn?

I'd suggest this DVD.

You maxing out at $15, or willing to go a little over? Don't know what to recommend that you wouldn't be overpaying for at Best Buy, unless that's not an issue.

How about stuff that they have "on sale" this week? The new American Psycho DVD? Hostage? The new Assault on Precinct 13? Coach Carter?

Will go over the $15, just want to make sure I spend it all.

Leaning toward the majority right now with Darko. Have to use it today though, so the pressure it on!

Nobody asked, but if you go with Darko, I'd strongly recommend getting the old edition, not the "Director's Cut." The DC has a slight edge on extras, but the version of the film/soundtrack is not nearly as good as the first version released, which has pretty decent extras on its own.

That said, it's a great film in any case.

Íniúno.
