I don't know.. I was gonna pick this up for the nostalgia thing. I'm a child of the 80's and had thousands of GPK cards. I read the review, and it gave me serious second thoughts. I took it off my wishlist, but I might pick it up at the winter DDD sale if the price has dropped by then and I can get it for like $5.00 or so.

Well, I'm a child of the 80s and I don't want it.
Like many others, I had a few series of the cards as a kid, but I never saw the flick. I doubt it would be of much interest to me today.

I saw this in theatres when I was a kid. It's not a good movie by any means, but it is an enjoyable movie. Just the fact that it got made and it's so bizarre makes it worth picking up for me.

This is a guilty pleasure. I like the British guy who owns the store, he's the best character in the movie. I like the relationship between the younger kid and older chick. The Garbage Pail Kids themselves are such a trainwreck, they're fun to watch.
Man were those bullies were a bunch of bastards. Don't they have anything better to do, than pick on a 14 year-old kid? I could maybe understand kids his age, but not these guys.
I think this movie is for the outsider in all of us.
