I know that one version of this song was done by Roxette, but another more peaceful" version was also done...anyone know by whom?

D.H.T. is the band you're looking for, I'm guessing.

Their full length album comes out on July 19th. The single has been available for several months (as an import, I think), but they're only now getting attention.

IIRC, they recorded it as a techno dance song, but it's the slower, mellow piano version (B-side?) that's getting a lot of the radio play.

Yep the "mix" is the Edmee's Unplugged Vocal Edit, its an acoustic of the song with vocals and piano only. Its available on iTunes and as a single which i think has all the mixes on it. Great song!
