aaaah .. this sounds right up the alley of the guy who directed such weird gems as Time Bandits. I look forward to this.
I just finished watching Fear & Loathing (CC) .. and I had forgotten just how brilliant it is. Also, I can't but help wonder how the Harry Potter movies would've turned out if they had allowed Terry Gilliam to direct. He was one of the directors they earmarked early on in the project.

I only hope the project holds together. Gilliam has had more projects fall apart than I care to discuss and it sucks.

I know, I can't believe Gilliam's last completed movie was Fear & Loathing, five years ago now. I'm really interested in seeing the new La Mancha doc since that's probably all we'll ever see of that aborted project.

Apparently he wanted Matt Damon to wear a prosthetic nose but Harvery Weinstein wouldn't let him or something, but I don't think he actually disowned it though. He was at Cannes with Harvey Weinstein when they premiered the film.

Looks like a standard popcorn film... nothing really new here. I'll pass.
The "I'm too old for this shit" (and it's variations) line was old 10 years ago. Why do directors feel the need to include that piece of dialog?

Looking forward to this greatly, Gilliam has been out of the business for to long.
After watching the trailor I see it has the August 26 release date, but I thought it was getting a earlier release than that.
