but can they sell the hollywood bowl? sorta big for them, no?

Didn't they play the Bowl last time they came through LA?

I was lucky enough to see 'em at the Tower Theater in Philly a few years back. Maybe I'll get to go again this time...

So it seems like they know how to pick venues.

Last show I Saw at the paramount in oakland was Bjork. Acoustics are amazing in there.

yeah, the Strathmore is a brand spankin' new performance venue - primarily classical, jazz, world music. The accoustics are super and just the idea that Sigur Ros was booked here is completely unreal and fantastic news. As I recall the last time they were in DC they played at the Lincoln theatre on U Street - which I happened to have missed, so this time around I definately plan on seeing them.

heads up for fans in LA

they are playing a small gig at the avalon (great venue) before their big show at the bowl. pre sale goes on sale tommorw.

tix are 37 bucks

Presale for NA Tour started. I got 8 tickets for the Hollywood Bowl. Hopefully it will sell out pretty quickly .
