Simpsons Season 6 Preorder $32.99 less MIR & Coupon

Coconuts has simpsons season 6 for $32.99 and a $10 mail in rebate..
brings your total down to $22.99 which is a pretty good price
also have a 10% off with free shiping code for first orders... hopefully it combines with the rebate
with code your total would be around $19.69

The UPC for the Simpsons have been located on a single sheet glued to the back of the box. If Season 6 is like the other seasons, then you won't have to cut the box for the rebate.

Thanks for finding this man!

FYI - The code is "FIRSTPURCHASE"...

EDIT...For me to get free $1.98 Shipping on this, I set up the order, set up shipping, then went back to the cart and added code...If not done this way, no free shipping.

Daman.

Does anyone know how DDD is with PMing rebate offers? In other words, would they honor the final price of $22.99 after rebate?

Coconut's "FIRSTPURCHASE" might be better because it takes off the 10% and the $1.98 S/H....Is that better when it comes down to it? I can't do the math, I'm gonna sleep.

Am I the only one who keeps these sheets? I threw them away for the first few X-Files seasons, but kept them, and now I'm kicking myself for throwing those few out.

I keep them until they fall off, then I toss them.
Depending on how they are stuck to the box, that little gummy stuff can actually 'leak' into the box and cause an oil-stain looking thing on the box. Sometimes I'll take them off, get rid of the gummy stuff, and stick the paper in the box itself.

Nice price, tempting deal, OP.

I went ahead and ordered. Not going to be another deal like this unless someone screws up big time and who knows if they would honor it. This is a much safer bet.

Thanks for the post.

Ditto here. Easy to keep the packaging complete. I wonder how may LotR Sp Ed DVD Collector Sets will be considered incomplete because people used the free movie ticket.

Never having used Coconuts, I assume they are a reliable mail order company because I've seen people talking about them for a long time (frequently in relation to each of the Simpsons sets as they come out)?

It's always a gamble whether Fry's, Costco or Best Buy will have a special on the Simpsons on release week because I've set $24.99 as my limit, and they usually come out at $29.99 - $34.99. However, Costco eventually sells every Simpsons set for $19.99 (or less).

If I decide to preorder with Coconuts and then change my mind, how far in advance of release day do I have to cancel the order to prevent it from being shipped?

It sounds like people consider Coconuts rebates reliable, so I guess the only downside is cutting that piece of paper stuck to the back (assuming they don't change that).

Didn't FYE sell the last three seasons for $14.99 minus a $5 mail-in rebate when Season 4 went on sale?
